To love with what you cannot have is the subject of inspiration for many forms of artistic expression. Youthis far too impressionable for the good of both the lover and the loved. Not ready to settle down being ayoung, untamed explorer, Garsot found himself in an emotional conundrum having awakened the spirit,passion and adulation of a beautiful young womans heart. Her fate was forever sealed by falling for a freespirit who was just beginning his life's journey. Thus, he chose the World over her, and traveled far awayfrom her broken heart, never to return, allowing her to find love again while calming his own memories ofwho she was and what she meant to him. Garsot of course never forgot this beautiful young woman, andwanted to forever capture her image as she was when he left her, to freeze her in time for eternity. Eternal Youth is the vision which leaped from his mind and onto his canvas that symbolically captures the beauty,feeling and emotion of his first love. He will always remember her as she was, for she never aged in his mindand his memories, thus remaining forever beautiful and innocent to him as his teenage summer days.
